Since I had so much fun doing it last week, I'm doing another comment fic post tonight. If you prompt it, I'll write something for it. Any of the fandoms on my list are up for grabs, as are scenes from the big bangs I'm working on right now (yes, that is directed at you, topetine).

Fell asleep listening to the John Barrowman playlist on my iTunes. Had a very vivid dream about TimeLord!Reid, Companion!Jack Harkness, and Companion!Slutty OC. It was kind of epic. Reid and Jack got drunk and argued over whether the movie reboot or the original series of Star Trek was better. The argument ended with them transporting Gene Roddenberry into the apartment to ask his opinion and reminisce about the time he spent traveling with Reid in a wardrobe shaped TARDIS with C.S. Lewis. Slutty OC had amazing shoes and spent most of the dream asleep on the couch. Derek and Ianto showed up just in time to make pancakes for everyone.

I don't care that I knew about it before I saw it. They killed Ianto Jones. 

Fuck this, I'm gonna go watch Criminal Minds. At least they only torture Reid.

Why is everyone in love with Gwen Cooper? No. Seriously. She's pretty enough, but she's also kind of an annoying, self righteous bitch. So why is it that pretty much everything with a penis-except for Ianto, which might be part of why I adore him so much-is in love with her?

But today is not that day.

I love this show! Sleeper may just be my favorite episode yet if only because of the overwhelming amount of Snarky!Ianto. I'm officially adding him to my fictional male harem. He can keep Carlton Lassiter company. They'd like each other. Plenty of sarcasm to go around. Plus, I'm betting that Lassie would be more than a little pleased by how clean Ianto would keep the place. He seems the type, anyway.

"If you're interested, I've still got that stopwatch."

Oh, Ianto, really? That was what you chose as a pick up line? Damn I'm starting to really love his character. XD

...but in a good way.

So, I've just started watching Torchwood the last couple of days. The dialog's a little stilted at times, the special effects occasionally look more cheesy than impressive, and more than once I've wanted to smack a character upside the head, but on the whole I'm a little in love.

Just finished watching S01E06-Countrycide a couple of minutes ago. Can I just say that up until this episode I wasn't really feeling Ianto? He isn't really physically or vocally(yes, I judge people by their voices) my type, and while Cyberwoman made me feel bad for him, it mostly just pissed me off. Still, in Countrycide, between the jeans and the unbuttoned shirt and the angry why-doesn't-the-whole-about-to-die-thing-upset-you-people tirade...And then? When he headbutted the cannibal? Well, let's just say I'm officially on board the Ianto bandwagon. Hell, might even name my first born after him.

"Mommy, why am I named Ianto?"

"Because he was a character on a show and Mommy thought his angry face was sexy. Now eat your vegetables or I'll tell you my feelings about Shassie."

Speaking of Psych, that show has apparently restarted my obsession with fanfiction. I've been considering moving my fics to my livejournal for a while now, and since I'm writing again, I'll probably start doing that over the next week or so.
