Perfectly Imperfect

In this post I asked if anyone would be interested in helping me with a new writing project where every day I write a short fic (between 100-500 words) based on a prompt taken from the first comment of the previous day's fic. The feedback was good enough that I decided to go ahead with the idea. Since topetine was the first to comment with a prompt in my question post, I'm going to use her prompt for my first ficlet.

Criminal Minds just aired their season finale and Psych isn't back on for another month and a half, which means I'm woefully bereft of cop shows. This led me to The Good Guys, a show that doesn't technically premiere until next week. I haven't finished the pilot on Hulu yet, but I've pretty much decided that I have to watch this show if for no other reason than that the actor playing one of the leads looks like the love child of Tom Hanks and Tim Omundson.

Yes, I know he is actually Tom Hanks' biological son, but between the ears, hair cut, and the fact that he dresses like he raided Lassie's closet, I'm forced to stand behind my statement.
