The Good Guys

coffeebuddhaCriminal Minds just aired their season finale and Psych isn't back on for another month and a half, which means I'm woefully bereft of cop shows. This led me to The Good Guys, a show that doesn't technically premiere until next week. I haven't finished the pilot on Hulu yet, but I've pretty much decided that I have to watch this show if for no other reason than that the actor playing one of the leads looks like the love child of Tom Hanks and Tim Omundson.

Yes, I know he is actually Tom Hanks' biological son, but between the ears, hair cut, and the fact that he dresses like he raided Lassie's closet, I'm forced to stand behind my statement.
ETA: Finished watching the pilot. Unless it goes downhill really quickly, then this is definitely going to be one of my summer shows. They don't do Good Cop, Bad Cop. They do Alcoholic Cop, Probably-Going-To-Inadvertently-Piss-You-Off-By-Saying-The-Wrong-Thing Cop. And that? That's a recipe for magic right there.
