"I can't believe you want to go to a museum for your birthday," Javier says​ to Kevin's back. He's stretched out on the messy, unmade bed and openly enjoying the sight of a mostly naked Kevin ​rifling through a drawer. "Actually, for that matter, I can't believe you have a membership at a museum. I so would have beaten you up if we'd gone to school together."​

"​Don't be ridiculous. You would have spent all your study halls in the library secretly watching me from behind the stacks and pining. And I can't believe you don't like museums. We live in New York City, for crying out loud." Kevin makes a triumphant noise and pulls his membership pass out of the drawer. He tosses it on top the dresser and turns back toward Javier. "It's the greatest city in the world," he says lowly as he crawls up the bed, dipping his head to drop kisses on Javier's knee, thigh, hip, ribcage, neck. "Don't you want to take advantage of that and soak up the culture?"

Javier threads his fingers through Kevin's hair and pulls him down for a kiss. It's light and teasing, short brushes of constantly retreating lips and quick, playful licks. "Yeah right," Javier​ mumbles against Kevin's mouth. "Culture.​ What's the real reason?"

Kevin leans back, his stunning eyes bright and happy with excitement and his wet, red lips stretched in a wide grin. "Bro, they have dinosaurs."​
