Summary for the Phil/Clint fic I am NOT going to write. =P

Clint is the best cupid there's ever been, even if he does keep skipping out on his real work to fuck around with a bunch of people in costumes who are 'saving the world' or something. And it's not like he doesn't work even while he's goofing off. Tony and Steve? Natasha and Agent Hill? Fury and his eye patch? Yeah, those were all him, baby.

But then he gets an assignment to shoot Phil Coulson full of love for the pretty little brunette in R&D who's supposedly his 'soulmate', and for the first time in his entire career he misses and no one can explain why, least of all Clint.


ETA: I'm officially writing it. WTF. >.<

I have decided that Clint and Thor are totally mythological bros. Clint makes fun of Thor for being as subtle as a brick on a stick and Thor says things like, "If I but had your wings and subtlety, my dear friend, I would be as unnoticeable as a crow in the nighttime," which should sound complimentary, but always ends up sounding like an insult instead. Clint can't even object, because then Thor retaliates by pointing out how hot Clint's mom is with a look on his face that says 'oh yeah, I totally hit that.'

Basically, they're assholes to each other, but in an affectionate way. :)
