coffeebuddhaThrift stores kick ass. Got six tops for about five dollars today. And they're all really cute and summery and they actually look halfway decent on me. Also? One of the stores had books on sale for ten for a dollar. Guess who got lovely books for a buck? <3
Saturdays are definitely Family Time in my house. My mom and I have a standing date every Saturday that I'm home to go out to thrift stores and do any additional, nongrocery shopping that needs doing. I can't remember exactly when we started doing it, but it was before I started driving. Maybe when I was 13-14? So it's been going on probably about ten years now. I'm ridiculously lucky to have parents that I actually get along with. Well, 90% of the time anyway.
Watching Die Hard tonight. I've never seen it before, so this should be interesting.
I love my kitty, but I swear to God, if he doesn't calm the fuck down soon, I'm going to rename him Captain McSpazzypants. He just crossed the room in three bounces. And it's a pretty big room.
