"Chemistry sucks," Kevin announces solemnly. Jenny doesn't look up from where she's working through her own set of problems. That can't be allowed to stand, not when he's this bored, so Kevin wriggles closer on the couch and pokes at her a little. "It sucks."

That earns him a distracted mmhmm and a swat to the back of his hand. Kevin frowns at her. Still nothing.

Normally this would be the point where he'd head over to Javier's dorm and make him do his boyfriend-mandated duty of entertaining him, but Javier's out of town for his cousin's wedding; Kevin would be with him, but apparently some people don't think being arm candy and keeping anyone from hitting on his man in a tux is a good enough excuse for rescheduling a midterm.

Fucking chemists.

"Jenny," he wheedles, pushing her things off of her lap so he can flop down across it. "Chemistry sucks and my boyfriend is off being the hottest guy in the room and probably being hit on by cougars right now who want to be his sugar mamas."

Jenny arches an eyebrow at him and looks pointedly at her scattered homework. "So?"

"So?" Kevin echoes with his best pout. "So I need you to console me or entertain me or both."

"You know," Jenny says, combing her fingers through Kevin's hair, "I still have those hair extensions left over from Halloween. Want me to make you look like David Bowie in Labyrinth and have a movie night?"

Kevin pops up off of her lap and twists to kiss her cheek, before thrusting a finger in the air and declaring, "You remind me of the babe!"
