Italy-Milan
May. 17th, 2010 03:49 pmIt's currently 10:44pm in Italy. It still doesn't really feel like we're here. We don't start sight seeing until tomorrow, but had amazing dinner tonight. Mmm, wine. Mmm, pasta. Mmm, frozen/hot apple pie(one side was frosty and the other was piping hot, which couldn't have been intentional, but it was still good).
Our first flight was delayed by 2 hours because of volcanic ash, but we managed to get to Amsterdam just in time to make our connecting flight. Only about ten people lost their luggage, and I wasn't one of them. Long flights, long day/days. Soooo tired, but going to type up a few of the drabbles I wrote during the flight and post them before I turn in. Pictures will have to wait until I get home, because I don't have the software on my laptop to download from my camera. Booo.
Also! Was only in Italy for about 1 1/2 hour before flirting with my first Italian guy. Granted, he was in a car and I was on a bus, but there were looks and I have a photo of him that will eventually be posted. I win at life. <3
