Misc

1. Thank you to [livejournal.com profile] rispacooper, [livejournal.com profile] edom56, [livejournal.com profile] grumpybiscuit, [livejournal.com profile] kaitlia777, [livejournal.com profile] wingstarvegeta, [livejournal.com profile] lizibabes, [livejournal.com profile] black_sluggard, and an anon for the very sparkly hearts blinging up my profile! And thank you to [livejournal.com profile] zilentdreamer for my puppy, which is beyond adorable. :D You guys are all totally Beaches.

2. I'm trying to decide if it's worth it to reupgrade my account to a paid account now that my year's expired. The two things I liked about it the most were the ability to edit comments and being able to track individual threads on posts, and one of those things is now available for free. I guess I have time to decide that LJ claims it'll keep my paid account settings saved for over 300 days.

3. So, last night, despite my never watching Bones, [livejournal.com profile] rispacooper and I decided the best crossover pairing in the world would be Wendell/Hotch. And then rispa wrote it! Everyone should go read it! I mean, unless you don't like being happy. I'm not saying that a kitten will die every time someone passes over this fic, but you have no way of proving that doesn't happen.

And now I owe her a Wendell/Hotch manny!AU. No regrets. :D

4. The Castle always-a-girl!Ryan/Esposito noir AU I'm working on for the latest Daily Drabble is taking way longer than it should, but is also kind of trying to eat my brain. I kind of want to write ALL THE WORDS for it, which is a problem since I have no actual idea where it's going. Oops?

5. How about some pretty for our mornings?

Ooh, can't wait to see the Ryan/Esposito Noir AU! I know what you mean about fics eating your brain, lol. The R/E genderswap I wrote was just supposed to be a response to a prompt and it evolved into a strange AU of its own.

Love the picture!

Ditto.

Also, it's inhumanly hard not to make a joke about fic brain eating in terms of my R/E zombie AU...

Aaaand I think I've officially exceeded my quota of lazy puns for the week.

It's an illness. I've been encouraged to wear a bracelet.

Ridiculousness! I adore puns like you don't even know. The combination of a good pun and a bad joke has made me instantly fall in love more than once. lol

There's a love triangle and deceit and pencil skirts, and I have no idea what's going on anymore. XD

HardWood makes me so happy, especially when they're in suits. \o/

1. OMG I forgot to thank you for the glass heart! *hangs head in shame* I am a terrible person.

4. Brain-eating fics! I have one of those, it's eating my brain and yet getting absolutely NOWHERE (it's been sitting at about 3 paragraphs for...months. Many of them). And that's on top of the tv show I'm writing (it's ALMOST DONE! Except I'm stalled on one character bio. And a title.) Also, yay noir AU! I'm still kind of bouncing XD

1. Pffft, don't even worry about it. &hearts You're not a terrible person. HORSES are terrible people. ;)

4. You still don't have a title? :( Sadness. I'm sure you'll think of something. This fic is making me really want to go out and buy pencil skirts. lol

1. Wow, it's a sign of how tired I am that it took me a minute to understand the horses comment. (My house is...raining. I didn't sleep much last night because I was worried. Also, dripping is loud. So, tired. Sorry if I get rambly...)

4. Nope, not yet. The only thing I can think of is maybe naming it after the ship, but that seems so...cliche. (Actually, it mostly feels like I'm stealing too many ideas from Firefly/Serenity...) Hopefully I'll think of something soon. Of course, I've got until the 29th before it's due, so I've still got a couple weeks to think about it.

I can't say I've ever owned a pencil skirt, actually...

[identity profile] coffeebuddha.livejournal.com 2012-02-17 02:39 am (UTC)(link)
1. Oh no! I've totally been there. That SUCKS. I hope you get it all sorted out soon. *hugs* :( (rambling is a perfectly acceptable form of communication around here, jsyk)

2. I want to suggest something that's a take off of a soap opera title, but I can't think of anything punny enough...This is me trying to help. It's not very impressive, is it? ;)

I don't own any either, which is a crime because pencil skirts look really good with my curves. =P

1. Yeah, it's a giant pain in the ass. Particularly as the repair guy can't do ANYTHING until he can get into the unit above us to see what's going on up there (and I guess he can get into the walls there or something), and they haven't been home all day. Apparently the dripping has stopped for now, though who knows how long that'll last this time. (It stopped for a bit last night, we thought it was fixed and decided to run the dishwasher, and it got worse again after that. So apparently it gets worse every time we use the water...ugh.)

2. Heh, I don't even know any soap operas, so no real ideas there at all. *shrug*

I rarely ever wear skirts, which is probably why I don't own any pencil skirts, lol. I've got a couple long like...hippy-skirts, and a couple A-lines, but I think that's actually it for what skirts I own. XD ...oh, and a couple short plaid ones that I don't think I've ever worn outside the house... (I would like to wear skirts more often, but I have no shoes to go with them, and most nice shoes hurt my feet like crazy. Well, also, I never go places that would require the use of a skirt. *shrug*)

That pairing is so cute it makes kittens spontaneously burst into existence!

[identity profile] coffeebuddha.livejournal.com 2012-02-17 04:35 am (UTC)(link)
That is a verified fact!
