Job Search, Cheesecakes, and John Sheppard
1. I put in for a baking job this afternoon at a bakery cafe place. I can't even tell you guys how much I want this job. I'd be willing to take a cashier position at the place and spend my off time helping out in the kitchen for free. Maybe I should have put that on the application. Fuck, I really want this job.
2. I'm doing the wedding cakes for one of my best/oldest friends this spring. Unfortunately, her fiance isn't a big cake person and wants a cheesecake for his groom's cake. I can't stand cheesecake most of the time, so I don't even really know where to start. He wants something super plain and not too sweet, so please let me know if anyone has any suggestions.

topetine had an idea for a Stargate Atlantis AU where John Sheppard is pretty much the wild man of the Pegasus galaxy and Rodney stumbles across his planet by accident and falls in instant lust/love/knee-weakening-man-crush with him. There's a chance I might try to write it Harlequin romance novel style. (She gave her blessing. Although she doesn't know about my Harlequin designs on it yet.)
Side note? I really like this icon and should use it more often.
